Key Linking Variable

Note

In a few unusual circumstances a child under 16 years may be PNO 01 within a household. This will occur where the child is the only PSM (permanent sample member) resident in the household as fieldwork practice is to always list a PSM first on the Enumeration and Household Grids. Normally this will be an adult member aged 16 or over but if a PSM child is fostered or moves in with a parent or relative who is not a PSM, the child will be listed first on the grids.
