We are seeking a professorial-level researcher and co-Director of the ESRC-funded Research Centre on Micro-Social Change (MiSoC) with the ambition and ability to build on MiSoC’s record of the past two decades, to help shape a new research agenda, and to lead MiSoC beyond 2019.

We are seeking a talented and ambitious quantitative researcher to develop a programme of research and lead the Understanding Society Policy Unit within ISER, to inform crucial policy debates. A suitably qualified candidate will be awarded the title of Professor of Social Policy.
We wish to appoint a Senior Research Officer to contribute to this programme of research and capacity building. The post is part of a targeted research programme, funded by ESRC, which combines original research and outreach activities with the overall aim of stimulating interest in and promoting the use of biomarkers and genetic data from Understanding Society in UK social science research.
