ISER is funded and commissioned to undertake innovative and influential social and economic research, which looks at how people’s lives are changing over time. Internationally renowned for the production and analysis of longitudinal surveys, such as the British Household Panel Survey and Understanding Society, ISER also has a reputation that is second to none for its survey methodology research and runs a number of programmes for visiting researchers.
