Curriculum vitae

I am an economist. My research interests are applied labour, health, and development economics, and survey methodolgy. I am particularly interested in:

  • Determinants of social and human capital
  • Causes and effects of ethnic diversity and segregation
  • Microcredit
  • Child labour
  • Determinants and measurement of well-being
  • Methods to reduce and correct for non response
  • Impact evaluation
  • Field and survey experiments

I am part of the Understanding Society team. I had been involved in a number of projects including: the sample design of the ethnic minority boost sample, the imputation of income data, the creation of the harmonised BHPS-Understanding Society dataset, and the inclusion of Understanding Society into the Cross National Equivalent File (CNEF).
