Description
From 2010-2013, the Norface funded cross-national data gathering effort “Causes and Consequences of Early Socio-Cultural Integration Processes Among New Immigrants in Europe (SCIP)” surveyed recently arrived immigrants from Poland and Pakistan in London, as well as newly arrived immigrants in the Netherlands, Germany, and Dublin. A special issue in Ethnicities was recently published with new findings from this project, and We are now currently extending analysis on student migrants, combining data from this project with data from the Destination of Leavers of Higher Education survey. In the near future, we will also be examining remittance behaviour among newer and more established immigrant groups in this data, and developing a typology of recent Turkish migration.
