Abstract:

This paper uses all countries in the comparative post-data-collection harmonised household panel dataset, CHER, to explore the relationship between the degree of non-monetary deprivation, here defined as not possessing certain household goods and living in a house that lacks basic facilities or required significant repairs, and income position, controlling for household level backgrounds factors.
