Abstract:
The UK has one of the strongest portfolios of longitudinal studies in the world, and the British Household Panel Survey (BHPS) is a leading component of this portfolio. With ESRC support, the BHPS has generated nationally representative longitudinal information covering a wide range of substantively important and policy relevant topics on an annual basis since 1991.
