Abstract:

People suffering some form of disability represent a very important sector of society and they need guarantees that their rights are to be assured. The aim of this paper is to model the probability of an individual reporting non-hampered in daily activities by a chronic or mental health problem, illness or disability as a function of a range of socio-economic characteristics using the new data from the European Community Household Panel (ECHP).
