Utility of time use data: report to DfES: Key findings about how children and teachers spend their time

Abstract:

The DfES were one of the co-funders of the UK 2000 Time Use Survey and this report presents findings in some of the key areas which were of interest to the department. The report looks at the time children and parents spend together as reported from both the childs and parents perspectives. Time spent in learning and training activities by both children and adults is analysed. The final section of the report looks at the activities of teachers.
