Sun Life Direct have published their 7th Annual Survey into the cost of dying and end of life planning. Key findings from the report are 1) Cost of dying up 7.1% since 2012 with a significant postcode lottery 2) Funeral cost up 80% since 2004 – average funeral now £3,456 3) Sun Life Direct projects the average cost of a funeral will rise to over £4,300 by 2018
