Authors

Publication date

Summary

In the first paper I analyse the link between the poverty status of youth after they have left home and the economic status in the family of origin. The sample is constituted by youth that have left home to forme a stable cohabitation union. I use four countries (Italy, Spain, Portugal and Greece) for which there are data from the European Community Household Panel.
In the second paper, I analyse the duration of second union, the role of the assortative mating and of the selection process. I use the British Household Panel Survey.
