Abstract:

This paper will discuss analysing the experiences of people with neurological disabilities in the BHPS sample. At present, such people are likely to respond intermitently, and thus are weighted out of the longitudinal sample. These people are also more likely to experience various forms of social exclusion. This paper explores how this group can be identified in the BHPS and discusses alternative ways of weighting and analysing this group
