The network, which is coordinated by MiSoC co-Investigator Professor Adeline Delavande, will next come together a workshop to be held at Arizona State University on 20-21 March 2020. The workshop is the sixth in a series of workshops on Subjective Expectations; previous editions have been held at Université Laval in Quebec (2009 and 2011), the University of Essex (2014), New York Federal Reserve Bank (2016), and CESifo in Munich (2018).
Subjective expectations play a fundamental role in macro and microeconomic models. Recent work on measuring expectations and understanding expectation formation, on using expectations in econometric models, and on linking subjective expectations to actual behaviour has contributed to a large advancement of the field.
Researchers whose research contributes to this flourishing literature are invited to submit their papers or extended abstracts by email to ExpectationsWorkshop2020@asu.edu by 15 November 2019.
The keynote speakers are Andrew Caplin (New York University) and Charles Manski (Northwestern University).
