The Big Squeeze

Tonight’s BBC Panorama Programme features specially commissioned research from ISER.

The research, carried out for the programme by Birgitta Rabe using the British Household Panel Survey looks at what effects any rise in interest rates may have on people’s ability to pay their mortgage and, ultimately on repossessions.

The Big Squeeze, broadcast this evening at 8.30pm on BBC 1, looks at the rising cost of living and falling wages and also unveils new research which shows that most of us are significantly poorer than we were two years ago.
