Professor Annette Jäckle, Professor of Survey Methodology at ISER and Deputy Director of Understanding Society, was on the BBC Radio 4 More or Less programme this week, giving her expert opinion on AI interference in surveys. The programme was investigating the findings of a YouGov poll which had reported a surge in interest in church going among young men. Annette appeared alongside Professor David Voas, Emeritus Professor at UCL and former ISER Director, to discuss the now-withdrawn YouGov poll and the use of AI tools to pose as survey respondents.
