Bocconi University, Italy, 12-13 June 2023, followed by PhD mini course on 14 June
Subjective expectations play a fundamental role in macro and microeconomic models. The area of subjective expectations has been growing rapidly over the last two decades. The first edition of the Handbook of Economic Expectations was published this year.
We invite scholars whose research contributes to this flourishing literature to submit their manuscripts to the Subjective Expectations Workshop to be held at Bocconi University. The goal of this workshop is to bring together junior and senior researchers using subjective expectations in their work and to foster and stimulate the exchange of ideas.
The workshop is the seventh in a series of workshops on Subjective Expectations. Previous workshops have been held at Université Laval in Québec city (2009 and 2011), the University of Essex (2014), New York Federal Reserve Bank (2016), CESifo in Munich (2018), and virtually (2020).
Minicourse for PhD students
For the first time, this edition of the workshop will be followed by a Minicourse on Subjective Expectations in Economics for PhD students interested in the area. The course will take place at Bocconi University on June 14, 2023. Students admitted to the minicourse are welcome (in fact, encouraged!) to attend the workshop as well.

Priority will be given to completed papers, but extended abstracts will also be considered. Successful applicants will be notified by 15 March 2023.
Conference details
The workshop will be hosted at Bocconi University, located in Milan, Italy.We will provide accommodation. Limited travel grants may be available for presenters.
