Meena Kumari, ISER’s Professor of Biology and Social Epidemiology, will join David Dimbleby for an open online discussion event on Tuesday 10th November (4pm-5.30pm) as part of the ESRC Festival of Social Science.
Who Needs Experts Anyway?, referencing the controversial politician, Michael Gove’s 2016 comment, will look at how academic knowledge and research might help inform evidence-based policy making and public discourse, with a panel of the University of Essex’s leading social scientists.
