BHPS workshop

Gundi and attendee 15 researchers attended a recent workshop introducing them the the British Household Panel Survey (BHPS).

The course, An Introduction to the BHPS using Stata showed attendees how the well-used and popular household survey is designed, the types of data that are collected and how they are collected, structured and stored.

The two-day course, which usually runs twice-yearly in November and April, aims to give researchers a thorough knowledge of the BHPS and the tools to make the most of this rich, but complex, data set.

The workshop was run by ISER’s Gundi Knies, Simonetta Longhi and Alita Nandi and involved lectures and practical lab sessions.
