Qualitative and quantitative methodologies for empirical research

MA in Sociological Research Methods

The MA in Sociological Research Methods is run jointly by ISER and Department of Sociology. This course gives students a strong foundation to conduct empirical research. The course covers both qualitative and quantitative methodologies. Other topics offered for further study include research design and specific research techniques and evaluation. This course is aimed at students who which to pursue a career in social or market research or wish continue their education with a doctoral degree.
