Robin specialises in working in partnership with stakeholders to ensure that policy is informed by quality research. Before joining ISER, Robin was previous Senior Fellow at the Policy Studies Institute in London where he spent nearly twenty years informing environmental policy at the UK and EU level. His research themes included resource economics, wellbeing & behavioural science, the circular economy and trade policy. Throughout this time, Robin was committed to bringing the research process closer to the policy making process to solve complex challenges of our time. Robin joined ISER in 2022 to continue this work and bring together data users across government, think tanks, charities, etc to best utilise the Understanding Society data.
