I lead the communications activities for Understanding Society, including writing web and social media content, producing communications materials for print and online, and support the development of our blog, podcasts, animations and videos. The communications team promotes the research that uses Understanding Society and innovations in survey design and delivery. We also keep our participants updated with the latest news from the Study.

I have a background in social science and humanities communications, knowledge exchange and impact tracking, having previously worked for the UK Data Service and a philosophy-based research and knowledge exchange project. I also hold a CIPR Diploma in Internal Communications.
