Role
Work closely with the Study’s Director and Deputy Director in shaping Understanding Society’s future direction organisationally, financially, scientifically, and in terms of the policy impact that it achieves.
To provide leadership for all data linkage activity across Understanding Society, including strategy, policy and processes. To lead on the specification, development and implementation of the Study’s data linkage negotiation, processing and deposit systems with the goal of enhancing the data available for scientific research.
Experience
20+ years of experience working on and managing a wide range of national and international social science data infrastructure projects, services and tools – with a particular focus on longidutinal studies and cross-national surveys – funded by various UK research councils and the European Commission.
