Position
John is responsible and accountable for Understanding Society’s data management systems. He co-ordinates the data flows on an ongoing basis both to the fieldwork agencies to carry out data collection and to the UKDS for researchers to use the data, and all the data processes in between.
This strategic role includes providing leadership for all of the data functions that underpin the Study: systems development, data processing, quality assurance and quality control systems, creating value added resources, data access policies, data deposit, information security and he also supports our rapidly expanding data linkage activities.
