Manages the interface between Understanding Society and our principle data distributors (UKDS and ONS SRS) – both providing our data and documentation to them and in leading the approval process for researcher applications. Responsible for distribution of data directly to end users, when appropriate. Chairs the Understanding Society Data Strategy Group (DaSG). Responsible for the study’s geographical data strategy. Involved in the production of various aspects of Understanding Society data as well as project management for the Data Release team.
Has considerable experience in software systems and data production in government, defence and commercial organisations with an emphasis on producing and managing sensitive data and applications.
