Carla Xena is a Political Scientist interested in political attitudes and survey methodology. She is part of the methods team at Understanding Society and she also collaborates with the Sampling and Weighting Expert Panel of the European Social Survey. She completed her PhD at the University of Essex, Department of Government (2015). She holds a MSc in Political Behaviour from the same University and a MA in Political and Social Sciences from Pompeu Fabra University, where she earned her BA degree in Political Science and Public Administration. Her research has been funded by the Economic and Social Research Council and the Swiss Network for International Studies. Prior to joining ISER in 2019, she was a Postdoctoral Researcher at the University of Oxford, Merton College.
