Angelina is an economist specialized in applied microeconomics, with a focus on vulnerable populations and socio-economic inequalities. Currently a Senior Research Officer at the Institute for Social and Economic Research (ISER) at the University of Essex, she works on projects related to health, gender, and development economics. Her recent work covers topics including child penalty, mental health, and parenting. She uses quantitative analysis to deliver data-driven insights for both academic and wider policy audiences.
Angelina holds a PhD in Economics from the University of Bologna, an MSc in Economics from the University of Konstanz, and a BSc in Economics with Finance from the University of Westminster.
She has experience with teaching students and working in various public institutions such as the Center for Economic Research in Uzbekistan and the IFPRI in Washington, DC.
Angelina is affiliated with the European Economic Association, Società Italiana di Econometria, and the Royal Economic Society.
