_Understanding Society_ is the UK’s major new household panel study. It will be the largest and most ambitious of its kind in the world, following 40,000 UK households for up to 20 years. The results of the study will assist with understanding the long-term effects of social and economic change. It will help policymakers to develop and assess policies to make people’s lives better. An opportunity to meet the researchers behind ESRC’s internationally renowned portfolio of longitudinal studies and share our enthusiasm for this new ground-breaking study
