Social inequalities, work stress and diurnal cortisol profilesISER External Seminars

The talk examines the role of psychosocial work stressors in explaining social inequalities in health, with a particular emphasis on biological stress reactions. Mediating and Moderating effects of work stressors will be examined in relation to social inequalities in diurnal cortisol profiles. The talk will also describe the results of a recent randomised control trial on reducing stress in the workplace and its impact on improving well-being.
