Scheduled versus demand feeding: cognitive outcomes, psycho-social development and sleepISER Internal Seminars

Many popular childcare books recommend feeding young babies to a strict schedule, while others argue that babies should be fed on demand. In this seminar I will review my previous findings on scheduled versus demand feeding and children’s cognitive outcomes. I will also present new results on the relationship between demand feeding and children’s psycho-social development, and (very preliminary) results on the relationship between feeding mode and evolution of children’s sleeping patterns.
