Global Comparative Analysis of Human RightsISER Internal Seminars

The seminar will explore the many methodological challenges associated with
carrying out large-N cross-national comparative research on human rights
violations. The presentation focuses on the measurement of human rights
violations, the construction of large-N data bases and the methods of
estimation for models that include time-series and cross-national variation.
This general discussion is then illustrated with a recent example of
research on inequality and human rights.
