Understanding Society’s Governance Officer

Collating, preparing and disseminating papers for Understanding Society governance committees, funder, advisory groups and key internal meetings.
Point of contact for committee group members and responsible for communications sent to these groups.
Managing the recruitment of advisory group members and the induction of new members.
Co-ordinating committee cycles and key internal meetings, minute taking at these meetings.
Assisting the development of good governance practices across UKHLS.
Managing the Study’s formal progress reporting, including its annual ResearchFish submission, recording outputs related to ESRC funded grants.
Managing Understanding Society’s e-library of key documentation.
Manage staff recruitment process for Understanding Society.
