Young people will suffer the most from the economic impact of Covid-19 – new film from Economics Observatory

Young people may have suffered lower rates of illness and death during the pandemic, but they are exposed to a separate threat: it is the young who are likely to bear the brunt of the economic costs, not just now but for years to come.

This video from the Economics Observatory explores the likely effects on young people.

The film features leading academics researching the impact including ISER’s Professor Emilia Del Bono as well as Matt Dickson, University of Bath and Emma Tominey, University of York.
