Registration opens for Understanding Society Research Conference 24-26 July

The Understanding Society Research Conference 2013 is now open for registration, presenting new research using Understanding Society, the UK study of 40,000 households which began in 2009, and other longitudinal studies.

The conference which runs from 24-26 July will be hosted by the University of Essex.

Plenary sessions include Professor Maarten van Ham from Delft University of Technology, OTB Research Institute for the Built Environment on Analysing individual residential mobility and neighbourhood biographies and Dr Ann Berrington from the University of Southampton on Changing dynamics of young adults’ household transitions: what can we learn from BHPS and Understanding Society?

Post-conference training event: An Introduction to Understanding Society

Researchers interested in learning how to access and analyse Understanding Society data can also register to attend a half-day training course on Friday July 26 at the University of Essex .
