Abstract:

Chimera is funded by BT Group Technology Office to investigate a number of issues on customer behaviour in relation to the uptake and usage of Information and Communication Technologies (ICTs). This work looks at consumer spending patterns, with a particular focus on substitution spending (SS), using current literature and investigating a number of data sets, such as the Family Expenditure Survey (FES).
