Professor Amanda Sacker Professor of Lifecourse Studies

Amanda Sacker is Professor of Lifecourse Studies and Director of the ESRC International Centre for Lifecourse Studies in Society and Health in the Research Department of Epidemiology and Public Health, UCL. Her research fields are social inequalities in health and life-course social epidemiology. She has particular interests in the statistical modelling of complex longitudinal processes, the developmental origins of poor physical and mental health in adult life, and how different policy contexts moderate effects on health throughout life.
