Research Interests

  • Research on the impacts of economic change and public policy on social inequality and patterns of household formation
  • labour market marginality and multiple deprivation; impacts of territorial inequality on social processes
  • social polarisation and social change in London; methodological aspects of longitudinal data

Responsibilities

As Director responsible for the overall strategic direction of ISER, for coordinating the various major activities and acting in the role of head of Department with the University.

He is a member of the Understanding Society Scientific Group and takes responsibility as topic champion in these areas of income and employment research.
