Workshop opens for registration

Organised jointly by: The ESRC Research Centre on Micro-Social Change and the EUROMOD Project

Accommodation

We offer student housing accommodation on campus , rates range from £30.00 per person, per night on a self-catering basis (unless otherwise stated) and include VAT.

Wivenhoe house hotel bed and breakfast is £84 per night. To receive this rate telephone +44 (0)1206 863666 and advise that you are attending this workshop. If you prefer accommodation in Colchester town you have many alternatives. Below are three hotels which are situated in or near to the town centre.

Conference dinner

Pre-drinks and Poster presentations will be held at Wivenhoe House on the 15th of September, 7pm – 8pm. Dinner will follow at 8pm. Menu choices will be confirmed in the coming weeks. The set menu will cost approximately £35 per head.

How do I get to the conference?

I’m a presenter. What do I need to know?

  • Each paper has a 40 minute slot.
    You should prepare a presentation lasting no more than 30 minutes to leave sufficient time for discussion.
  • Presentations: both PowerPoint and pdf presentations are supported. Please bring your presentation on a memory stick and upload it to the computer in your presentation room 15 minutes before the session begins. Please also liaise with your session chair prior to your presentation.

Will the presentations be made available after the conference?

Yes. We shall let attendees and presenters know when these have been added to the conference web page.
