Research Theme: Time Use
Questions of time use - how people spend their time, and how patterns of time use differ between individuals and over time - are fundamental issues for social scientists. Standard individual-level data sets allow only partial analysis of these questions. A deeper and more detailed analysis requires a different type of data, usually collected in the form of diaries. Time use researchers at MISOC engage in both collection and analysis of time use data.
