International SIR Users Conference and Training 2006
June 28-30th, 2006. The Shakespeare Hotel, Stratford-upon-Avon, UK.
The SIR UK Users Group is pleased to be organising the 2006 International Conference and Training sessions, and is now taking bookings and proposals for presentations.
The conference will be hosted by the Macdonald Shakespeare Hotel in the historic town of Stratford-upon-Avon and run from the afternoon of Wed, June 28 to the afternoon of Fri, June 30.
Partners, spouses and families will be very welcome to participate in the social programme.
The Conference and Training Programme
Conference presentations will take place on Wednesday and Friday. Advanced and introductory training, provided by Tony Reardon and the Users Group's own, estimable John Lemon, will take place on Thursday, as will the User Group Annual General Meeting (Agenda - PDF).

The Shakespeare Hotel
The Shakespeare Hotel, is one of Stratford's oldest, and is certainly one of the most pleasant and exciting to stay in. Located in the heart of the town, it blends 21st century comfort with 17th century architecture and ambience, and provides an excellent jumping-off point for anyone who wants to explore the Bard's backyard.
The Shakespeare will also arrange pre- and/or post-conference accomodation if you'd like to extend your stay.

The Social Programme
The social programme for this year's conference includes a Wednesday night performance of Romeo and Juliet by the Royal Shakespeare Company, and a guided historical tour of the town on Thursday.
Fees
Delegate Rate
The residential delegate rate is £525.00,which includes 2 nights B&B, lunches, tea, coffee and dinner, Conference and Training, and the social programme.
Partner and Spouse Rate
The fee for partners or spouses who are sharing a room with a delegate but not attending the training or conference papers is £175.00, which includes 2 nights B&B and dinner, as well as the social programme.
